Dr. Meckes is an innovator and leader in the field of extracellular vesicle (EV)/exosome research with over 50 publications cited more than 7,500 times in high impact journals. His work has led to a better understanding of EV content, biogenesis, and functions in cell-to-cell communication of cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and viral infections. His group has discovered new ways to purify, analyze, and produce large quantities of EVs for therapeutic or diagnostic purposes resulting in new patents, publications and successful grant applications. Dr. Meckes’ research has been supported with over $4 million of funding awarded through the Florida Department of Health, the National Cancer Institute, the National Institutes of Health, and the American Cancer Society. He is driven to advance EV research and bring new therapies and diagnostic tests to patients. Dr. Meckes has worked with diverse research teams from around the world to advance science and discovery that is evident from his publication record. These collaborations have resulted in many publications, successful grant applications, patents, and new products or services.

Let us help grow your vision
